Pastor Myrondous A. Washington is a native of Opelika, Alabama and began his walk with the Lord at a very early age. Having gotten the call to preach at the young age of 16, he continued to flee this mandate until the age of 19, when he preached his initial sermon on Sunday, July 14, 1996. He was ordained shortly after that.
In May of 1998, he was called to be the Senior Pastor at Little Baptist Hill Church in Rutledge, Alabama, and remained there for a period of three years. Under his leadership, the membership more than quadrupled in the first year, and the church underwent a complete renovation and expansion to accommodate the only significant growth in the history of the church.
After completing his assignment there, he was later called to the New Mountain Top Baptist Church to serve as their Assistant Pastor, and he remained in that position until July of 2004, when he was elected as the Senior Pastor. During his brief leadership in that position, they experienced tremendous growth and lives were forever changed.
It the latter of 2005, God begin to speak to Pastor Washington about his divine will and plan for his life. In January 2006, amidst fear, naysayers, and a lack of capital, he stepped out on faith and birthed Agape Global Church. Since that time, Agape has experienced rapid growth under the leadership of Pastor Washington and the membership has grown from 17 charter members to more than 500 in the first two years.
Pastor Washington is a dedicated husband to Lady DiShan Washington, and is much loved by all that have the privilege to meet him. Armed with a plethora of talents, he remains humble and grateful that God has entrusted him to serve His people. He is a dynamic and highly sought after conference speaker, revivalist, psalmist, and teacher. His latest endeavors include the highly anticipated 2008 releases of his debut CD, and book, No More Stress. Pastor Washington is unquestionably an instrument being used by God for this season, and with the vision of Loving Christ With All and Loving All As Christ, he is sure to continue to bless the masses, with his presence.
