Agape's Scriptural Foundation

I John 4: 7-11
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

The Vision Statement
To love the lost to the Lord Jesus Christ and fellowship within His family and to cultivate them into a Christ-like character through discipleship in Kingdom principles, to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, to evangelize the world through our witness, as we worship God's Holy name

The Vision Statement of Agape Global Church consists of five (5) objectives:

* Fellowship- In fellowship we display our love for those in the family of faith
* Disciple- In discipleship we display love through obedience to God's Word.
* Minister-In ministry we demonstrate God's love through service.
* Witness-In witness we display our love for the lost.
* Worship-In worship we display our love for God.

What Will This Vision Accomplish?
Through fellowship it will give a sense of belonging. Through discipleship it will give direction through instruction. Through ministry it will give attention to the needs of the individual. Through witness it will give hope and opportunity for change through truth. Through worship it will give purpose and fulfillment.

Statement of Faith

WORD OF GOD
We believe the Bible is the Word of God fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

THE TRINITY
We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct, but harmonious offices, in the work of creation, providence and redemption.

GOD THE FATHER
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all that come to Him through Jesus Christ.

JESUS CHRIST
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teaching. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit permanently indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.
